This will be our 3rd August family week at Spooky Bay and we are looking forward to the quiet and privacy. The cabins are all lovely and clean with nice accomodations. Lots of room for walking, swimming, fishing. The flowage is of course, beatiful.
When my family and I first went to Spooky Bay Resort several years ago, we had not been on a vacation in about ten years. Our week there was blissful and relaxing, exactly what we needed. Since then, we have been back, and Debbie and Dave Lang, the resort owners, are two of the best people we know! My family highly recommends this resort to your family! If you are looking for nature at its most beautiful, look no further than Spooky Bay!
Very friendly owners. Three day minimal limit. everything from baddle boards to kiaks and camoos and baddle boats. The drive from Milwaukee to there is rough but pays for itself in the quite and beauty. Fully furnished w amanitys such as towels and toilet paper. Had some cooking supplies in the kitchen as well. Great Webber grills. All of them look almost new. Everything was clean and smelt fresh not stuffy. The price was right for everything you get. Long travle to a city so pack accordingly. Ice is a five min drive away not bad easy to find. Whaterways are awesome need map or u will get if ur not formiliar. Five different ways u can go just from the beach itself. But every resort has a sign so feel free to stop and ask for directions. People are friendly and always willing to help.
We stayed in a rustic cabin real close to the lake. The inside of the cabin is updated and has all the necessary amenities.

I noticed the high quality of the linens, towels, etc. The beds are very comfy. It was quiet. All we could ask for!
Lack of grounds maintenance and undesirable cabin cleanliness although I did get a reduction in my cost I would have rather paid full price and not have to endure a week of hassles
